Owfs (ovals with feet) are simple organisms with fairly few characteristics. Their sexual lifestyle is similar to most sexually reproducing organisms. Individual owfs are diploid, their gametes are haploid. All of the eight genes that are found on the owfs two chromosomes are inherited by simple Mendelian genetics. Individuals can be black, gray or white. The gray coloration shows up in heterozygous individuals. Two eyes are dominant to one eye. A tuft of hair is recessive to hairless. Cindy, a gray, hairless female with 2 eyes marries Bob, a white male with 1 eye and a tuft of hair. Cindy’s mother was white with one eye and a tuft of hair. Cindy and Bob plan to have 4 children. Calculate the probability that 2 of their children will be gray with 2 eyes and a tuft of hair
acc to question, BB(BLACK), Bb(gray), bb(white); DD(DOUBLE EYE),Dd(double eye),dd(single eye); HH(HAIRLESS),Hh(hairless), hh(tuft of hair)
cindy's mother= bbddhh
so cindy will definitely be= BbHhDd
bob=bbddhh
cindy x bob=
BbHhDd x bbhhdd= BbHhdd(1/6)

BHD | BbHhDd |
BHd | BbHhdd |
BhD | BbhhDd |
Bhd | Bbhhdd |
bHD | bbHhDd |
bhd | bbhhdd |
probability of their children will be BbHhdd= 1/6 offspring
