suggest why species that reproduce asexually can out-perform sexually reproducing organisms in some situations.
Although species undergoing sexual form of reproduction are more advance and complex than that of those having asexual form, there are still some advantages of asexual form over sexual form.
These are some reasons why species undergoing asexual reproduction can out perform those having sexual reproduction.
1- There is no need of searching for viable mate.
2-Asexual reproduction requires less time and energy to produce offspring.
3- In one attempt an organism can produce a large no of offspring.
3- Asexual reproduction can be performed in unfavorable environments so that the organism can withstand that situation.
