One of the most important factors that influences people is their culture and they are the product of their cultural and religious believes, customs, practices and values. This would mean that people would like to have some preferences in terms of practices and customs as they approach the end of their lives. This would mean that people who provide end-life services should be able to understand the cultural differences in people and adopt the best practices that would suit their clients. Achieving a sense of belonging and oneness is the most important thing for people in the palliative care and this would mean that the healthcare providers build their cultural competency and learn ways through which they could better serve the one in death bed. Most of the time insensitivity towards those in their care in terms of neglecting them their right to practice their beliefs and customs would be the most painful thing that they would have in their minds as they die.
