What similarities can you find between the NETtalk functioning and the human brain functioning?

NETtalk as well as other neural networks are forms of artificial neural networks and had been developed in the mid 1980s. NETtalk was constructed in the form of simpler models which helps in understanding the complex process of human learning along with the different cognitive tasks along with their implementation in the form of connecfionist models. The NETtalk program pronounces written English as it would be shown in the form of input along with phonetic transcriptions that would be matching.

These networks use parallel distributed processing as well as adaptability. These also consist of input layers, hidden and output layers, similar to the theee way processing of any input stimuli in our brain. The neural networks also have interconnected processing elements similar to the brain neurons. These neural networks also demonstrate tolerance of fault through redundant coding of information along with real time parallel operations.
