what is the role of perception, moralities, and thinking in the
character-building?
Perception refers to how we perceive information. For example, if a friend says they can not come for our party because they are sick, this can be perceived in 2 ways. We might think he is really sick and needs to rest or we might think that he is not interested in the party and has made an excuse. Therefore the way we look at a situation and analyse the data given to us is know as perception.
Morals are the principles we live by. There are things that we believe in and a code of conduct that we follow in our personal and professional lives. These are known as morals. Some people have a very strong sense or marality and others don not.
Character building consists of many aspects. Morality is one of the most important ones. It helps to define our character, along with thinking or perception. If we think positively and try to do things in life that are moral and ethical, we will go a long way. We will help others and be part of a good community. On the other hand if we think negatively and live immorally, it will cause a lot of difficulties and make us of weak or questionable character. Our family an friends will not trust us due to this and we will not be able to be part of a healthy community. Therefore, perception, morality and thinking are very important o build good character.
