NPN TRANSISTOR :- A junction transistor consists of silicon or germanium crystal in which a layer of p type is sandwiched between two layers of n type silicon such a transistor is called NPN transistor. A junction transistor is a bipolar device in which the current conduction is due to electron as well as holes thus the junction transistor is called as Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT). It is capable of providing amplifier. NPN (negative - positive - negative) Transistor have three terminals I.e; emitter,base and collector and two junctions I.e; emitter junction, collector junction.
