In which way Kiekergaard's philosophy is related to modern psychological approaches?

The ideas presented by Kierkegaard have been very well correlated with the modern psychological concepts. The psychologies presented by Kierkegaard has been in two different formats, one in which science has been understood since the modern beginning. Whereas, the other aspect is of experimental psychology. Kierkegaard states that there has to be a conflict between the objectivity of a person and the subjectivity displayed by the person. And this conflict is never to be ceased.

It helps to identify the existential form of psychology and this form explains the neurotic failing of a person when they would be coping with various existential challenges that a person has. Kierkegaard could be referred to as the first of the psychoanalyst who explained the these conflicts and the problems that people have with self.
