Management should be more interest in the B players due to following reasons-
B players form the huge percentage of the workforce of the company and neglecting them means Management is losing opportunity to have potential productive workforce. B players are like in between A and C players but they are like those players who have the potential to become A players if management start giving focus and guidance to them. When Management will show more interest in B players then they will make to A player position and Company will have excelled workforce at disposal.
B players are Flexible and supportive in nature which makes them the right area for focus. They can be mould into any shape if management wanted to. They come to work on right time. They take their job seriously. They wanted to grow at their position. They take direction of thier Management very well which makes them right category of employees to have support. A players already excel and do not need more guidance and supervision but B players need. By providing support and guidance one or few times, Those B players will shine and show high performance at work.
B Players are very creative, curious and have high ambition. The need of growth and career development make them more curious and ambitious that they show hard work and would do anything and achieve anything to fuffill their needs.They wanted to gain more knowledge and skills which management can provide by training and supervision.They can be great project team leader as well as players as they like responsibility, accountability and work best under pressure. Management by providing support can have high chance of project success.They increase profitability of business and turnover rate of such employees remains low.
So, these are three reasons which require management's attention for growth and development of B players.
