Solutions

Expert Solution

  1. Ans: In the IEM Regulation it is clearly mentioned that the construction will not effect , damage or cause illness to the persons which lead to the death and it should not rain the natural resources , and damage to the environment and do not cause damage to the human skill and industry.

When it comes to our situation as the project causing adverse health safety and environmental impact , even if we do not the stop the project there may be some NGO’s or Environmental organization would definitely stop the work , which may lead to the court case that will prolong the time for a years. But if we stop the project for quiet some time which will not effect the environment as well as will not cause any health issues to the employers. When it comes to project duration may be it will take some more days compared to expected schedule , but as we are thinking for the welfare of the employees and stop the work for some time because they may be effected by the bad health conditions will made a impact on then that the organization is thinking about us in this way , which will help us to complete the project within a time , as they are agree for work for some extra hours to complete the project within a time.

But if we think about only commercial issue then we can’t move forward as employees are suffering from illness they won’t work and it will take so many days to recover also. And not all activities may cause impact , we may continue with other works which do not impact.

2)

  • As a engineer it is our responsibility to safeguard the public and society.
  • For the sake of we can’t go against our ethical values.
  • If we are working for a company we should work for then by putting soul. We have to be honest and true.
  • And we should not influenced by other for the sake of money.
  • Even if we found any unethical practices happening around us we should raise our voice and stand against it.
  • For the sake money we can’t support fake people , or dangerous people which may be the danger to the society.
  • And never disclose any organizational information to the other persons.
  • I think by putting some ethical and moral rules one should not influence by the corruption.
  • Now a days because of some ones mistakes all engineers are getting bad fame. Being in a responsible position we have to excel the image not bad image.

And in some cases some people are threaten us if we are not giving the information they want they will kill us , in that situation we should take some protection and inform to the higher authorities.
