1. Here, I shall specify the shared and non-shared environmental influences experienced by myself and my sister. Shared environmental influences are many. Being brought up in a middle-class family, we knew very well the value of money and how carefully we are supposed to use them. The taste of food enjoyed by both of us is also identical. Both of us prefer more home-cooked food from our mother than the restaurant one. Both of us enjoy comedy movies as we used to enjoy a lot of them together during childhood. Non-specific environmental influences were also many as to specify. I was the elder one and the age difference between myself and my sister was 7 years. I behaved more like a third parent to her than a brother. She had always admired me as her best friend and her elder brother. Being an elder child, I had more pressure from parents to be good in academics. However, my sister was absolutely free from this pressure and hence she enjoyed her studies.
Passive genotype-environment correlation: My parents were excellent chess players and they trained me well and today I have also become an excellent chess player like them.
Reactive genotype environmental correlation: I have received several trophies and recognition from school in getting the first prize in chess.
Active: I decided to attend the interschool competition and interstate competition in chess for more recognition which were agreed and supported by my parents.
Negative: I lost my job from a company where I was working for approximately 12 years. This has broken me down so badly that it lowered m self-confidence level to the worst.
