The most difficult things to accomplish as an importer in dealing with CBSA are as follows:

• CBSA has the autonomous power which is often misused by a few of their officials, doing some illegal misconducts. The misconducts are critical to handle for an importer who brings equipment from foreign nations.

• Electronic Travel Authorization is mandatory in CBSA since November 10, 2016. However, it is not always possible for the importers to manage electronic travel authorization cards in all the times they import products from other countries

• The dual intent policy is critical to handle by the importers as it has emphasized on both temporary, and permanent area of residence, and business. Importers find it difficult because it is not always possible for them to read all the papers related to importing for both the residences which are mentioned under section 22(2) of Immigration and the Refugee Protection Act (2001).
