What is the difference between spatial entity and traditional data in GIS?
A data set which is directly or indirectly referenced to physical location on the surface of the earth is termed as spatial. It talks about the absolute and relative position of the location. The key factor such as measure of points, lines and areal coordinate constitute the critical part of spatial analysis. It is a bit complicated and at times become very difficult to handle. The most critical is defining the spatial location of the entity for which study is done. It uses the statistical analysis to study the data. It talks about the data objects and elements which are present in geographical location.
A traditional data is about having local information about the various communities across the world. It is absolutely helpful in having a sound environmental and economy planning. It also uses the historical documents to make meaning in the context of the tradition which is talked about. It is useful in cultural preservation and it's deeper study.
