Describe smooth transitions and the learnings available to children during transitions.
Transition - Transition is a state that a child experiences while growing up . Transitions can be smooth for them if the people involved develop a positive communications links. For all children going through transitions, in order to promote steadiness, all the people involved must have a shared approach.
For example, if a child is ready to go to school it is important to keep in mind that academics is not just the only thing that needs to be developed but a positive defiance and self-assurance should be developed in them. The skill of making good relationships with another child and with adults as well is very important for the healthy adjustment of the child during the transitions.
When a child is adjusting to a new environment, getting accustomed can be very tense to the child. It involves learning of new emotions and feelings which are very strong like fear, sadness or excitement.
When a child faces any experience, which are very exasperating or stimulating, they learn skills which are self-regulatory. If support and guidance given by the adults, child develops skills which are rational, intellectual and emotive which in turn helps them to manage the transition successfully
The development of the language in a child id very important to help pass the transition successfully. When they become capable of comprehending receptive language skill, it helps them to attend and understand spoken language. This develops help them to communicate their needs and feelings.
