360 Degree Feedback Appraisal is the appraisal system that provides an opportunity to the employee to get performance feedback from his supervisors, peers, managers, co-workers, staff members, and even from customers. It is a multi source feedback appraisal and performance assessment tool that provides appraisal feedback from all who observe and affected by the performance of the candidate. 360 Degree performance appraisal system is used for performance assessment relating to administration decisions such as promotion, termination and pay structure for the employees. It provide information and data for making salaries, layoff and promotion decisions and help in creating documentation for justifying these decisions. This also help the management to determine the training needs and successsion planning in the organization.
