Prior to the involvement of technology the doctors used their limited ways to treat the patient in surgery or as a physician. This might cause even the death of a person. There is a lot improvement is the quality and safety of life with the efficient healthcare technologies.

The major risk of using technology is malfunction of the machinery at the point of time in which it is put into use. This have not only small but also harsh implications. For instance, if the patient has been put into the MRI machine and that machine breakdown then there are chances that patient may die.
