Child Psychology: Child psychology is the study of conscious and subconscious childhood development. Child psychologists observes how a child behaves or interact with thier parents, ethemselves and the world, to understand their mental development.

Every parent wants their child to grow healthy with normal behaviour and healthy development. the child psychologists will understand the difference, observing their normal and abnormal behaviour. This normal and abnormal behaviour patterns of a child can help their parents understand how they can move with the child, cope with them, connect with them and help their child progress and thrive in each new developmental stage

The main areas of devlopment:

Physical development in a child is typically predictable sequence of events. for example we knows at what age a child lifts his head, crawls, rolls over, tries to stand taking support, walks, runs, climbs, speaks etc. these are observed as physical development and if there are any abnormalities that wold be indicated as developmental irregulaties. Major delays in the physical development may reveal other underlying issues that can be addressed early on.

Cognitive development refers to the intellctual learning , critical thinking and thought processing of a child. Language learning, memory, decision making, problem solving, imagination all these factors are influenced by a childs genetics and environment.

Emotional development refers to how the child feels, understands and express their emotional feelings. how a child is able to express his anger, joy sadness, fear and how he is able to express complex emotions like confidence, hope pride emerge. To regulate and express emotions appropriately is difficult or many children. Helping them to understand these emotions can have a powerful impact on current and future emotional development.

Social development can be improved the way the child feels, understands and express their feelings has a direct impact on how they interact eith other people. Social development is how they develop their values, social skills and awareness. These early development can have a huge impact to their development of age appropriate social skills.

The practical objectives in the study of child psychology are
