Discuss the worst presentation you ever attended. What made it so bad? Knowing what you know now about planning and presenting, how would you have changed it?

Solutions

Expert Solution

The worst presentation I had seen is during a client meeting where we have been shown the plan of expansion of our product by our regional distributor (client) in foreign market. The presentation was bad and boring due to the following reason:

  1. The presentation was so badly designed.
  2. It has 50+ slides
  3. It has a lot of things written on the single slide
  4. Presenter is not sure to align the slides in series
  5. Presenter has a bad communication skills
  6. Use of so many videos and picture make the slide look ugly

How I would have changed it.

  1. I would have checked the requirement of the presentation
  2. Then I would have make small and crisp slides with minimum detail on it
  3. I should have align the presentation ins sequence
  4. I should have make content which is reliable and worth to discuss
  5. I should have make a person who has a good communication skill do present the presentation
  6. I should have kept it small, brief and full of information
