According to the article by Kathleen Pearson, "Deception, Sportsmanship, and Ethics", what does she refer to as being definitional deception and why does she feel it is unethical?
ANS- Definitional deception in a sports game occur anytime before the contest or after the contest is played. It means that misleading someone in false belief or to give an expression which is mistaken deliberately Example - sport skill-based deception. When deception is taught to students it means that it is purposeful. After years of practice, it becomes the second nature of a person. It is basically the image which is false and shown by one party and believed by another party.
One has come to participate in one kind of activity but deliberately engages in another activity is unethical, deliberate fouls and unethical, rule-breaking is unethical, cheating is unethical.
According to Kathleen pearson definitional deception states that one person ha contracted in one activity but deliberately contracted in another activity without informing anyone , against the rules which diesn't fit into the sports,
