Yes, it is the responsibility of the coffee consumers to ensure that the small producers receive a fair price for their product. This is because when the consumers are already paying so high and then very less goes to the actual producer is very wrong.

Instead the consumers can buy from Fair Trade so that it is ensured that small producers receive their rightful share and can live happily and produce more and more natural coffee. This is also better when compared to the chemical induced coffee which is neither good for the health of the consumer as well as bad for the environment.

If the small producers receive a fair price for their produce then, the traditional methods they use help in sustainable development and also they can sustain their families too. As a human being, it is the duty of consumers to ensure that fair prices are received by small producers.
