Solutions

Expert Solution

To win the game of Blackjack the player should have card total more closer to 21 than the dealer or the dealers sum should be higher than 21. If both the dealer and the player has 21, then the player doesn't loose nor gain anything.

The cards values are as follows:

2-10 has the Face value

J,Q, and K has a value of 10

A can take either 1 or 11

The game starts with the players both cards open while dealers one card is face down.

The player start the game. He can stand the value, surrender for half the bet if you feel you have a bad sum, or you can hit where you will be given another card.

After the players decision, the dealer reveals his card and if has low value than you he can hit and if goes beyond 21, player wins.

In the above case the dealer should get below 19 or above 21 for the player to win.

So, when the dealer hits, he should get 2,or above 5, which corresponds to 10 out of the 13 possible cards..

Therefore the probability to win = (10)/(13)
