1. Valdivielso et al., has established the PAR1 antagonists properties of 2-oxopiperazine analogues.
2. They are crucial in peptidomimetic chemistry. In peptide backbone, they attach the Ni and Ni-1 positions. They are useful in imparting pharmacological and pharmacokinetic properties.
3. Kitamura et al has established the 2-oxopiperazine derivatives as GPIIb/IIIa antagonists. This particular molecule was found to prevent platelet aggregation.
4. Molecules like agelastatine A, marcfortine B are having oxopiperazine ring.
