Q-1
An american engineer Willis Haviland Carrier is credited for invention of Air conditioning.
in 1902, he invented the first modern air conditioning machine.
Most Famously, He is known Father of the Air Conditioner.
(Q-2)
Combined gas law: Combined gas law for an ideal gas , is a combination of Three laws related to gas, combining these three laws into one, resulted into combined gas law, mostly preffered to known as ideal gas equation.
It state that, for any ideal gas, Ratio of product of Pressure and Volume To absolute temperature of gas is equal to constant.
or
m = mass of gas
R = Gas constant.
Second Law of thermodynamics: In second law of thermodynamics, there are two statements Namely,
Kelvin Planck Statement: It is impossible for a heat engine to produce net work in a complete cycle if it exchanges heat only with bodies at a single fixed temperature.
In simple words, no engine can convert 100%of heat into Mechanical work.
Clauses Statement: It is impossible to construct a device which operating in a cycle transfer heat from cooler body to a hotter body without any work input.
this statement is closely related to refrigeration.
(Q-3 and 4)
In ac circuit pipe, working medium is known as refrigerent which flow in the air conditioning cycle circuit,
At Inlet of compressor, refrigrent is present into dry vapor phase , which is compressed adiabatically by compressor to higher pressure and temperature.
Then Heat from the refrigrent at higher temperature is rejected into the surrounding in Condensor unit of Air conditioner, and refrigrent is gone saturated liquid phase.
Then Regrigrent is expanded isenthalpically in expansion valve and refrigrent goes into sub cooled liquid phase.
Then this subcooled liquid passes through evaoprator unit of ac, in which heat from room is absorbed and by help of fan, cold air is supplied in the room.
