Question -
People tend to use Stereotypes in different situations (Meetings, Negotiations with people from different cultures ...). Explain the reasons and how this may lead to conflicts.
First part:-
Reasons:
People mostly concentrate on the looks of others and based on appearance start to behave accordingly. During the conducting meetings and heading negotiations, it is obvious that people will interact with each other and they might begin to use stereotypes ideologies in different situations. From an outside look with some mistaken ideas, they start behaving with people and it tends to have conflicts. Such activities affect relationships and negative impression formed. Actually, people with different cultures may have variable looks and perceptions. While conversation during meetings and negotiations, such wrong thoughts come up in their mind which either they have heard or had perceived from others about any culture or groups. It makes people mindset to change on different cultures and they begin to use stereotypes in such situations.
Second part:-
Conflicts:
The conflicts are obvious reasons if people tend to use stereotypes in different situations. By appearance and look, if people make judgments and keep belief about any unreal things then that might go wrong. During communication like in meetings or negotiations, such mistaken ideas or beliefs may result to create a negative environment. Ineffective communication with the stereotypes ideologies can hamper dealings and it may lead to generate conflicts. Making judgments or having unreal beliefs towards people's appearance or looks and intentionally make acknowledged them with such, wrongful thoughts may result to have major chaos. People do such stereotype acts with anyone, cannot be tolerated. It may begin to rivalries and conflicts shall not end. The party will try to prove the use of stereotypes as a wrong belief or idea and such a thing may not be accepted from the other end. It will continue further and conflicts may occur at any moment if people use stereotypes in different situations.
