Formula:

% change in (AB) = % change in A + % change in B

% change in (AB) = B*% change in A

FOR NETHERLANDS

Y = [(K1/4L1/3]2 = K2/4L2/3

=> Y = K2/4L2/3

=> % change in Y = % change in (K2/4L2/3)

Using above formula we get :

% change in Y = (2/4)% change in K + (2/3)% change in L

Both L and K decreases by 25%

=> %change in K = % change in L = -25

=> % change in Y = (2/4)*(-25) + (2/3)* (-25)

= -29.17

This negative sign suggest that National Output decreases
