Let us try to loosely define it.I would say the virtual world discipline is a component of restraint ourselves in the event of no monitoring.It is self discipline, common understanding and community deterrent.Self discipline because of the default of a moderation system that keep an eye on everything we express,common understanding is because the absent moderation make it crucial for us to accept that we are responsible for ourselves, our act of expression online is under observation by people we speak to online in vary many ways.Community deterrent because we shave now evolved a virtual world with extreme, moderate and non-chalant opinions.Additionally, we have also evolved moral policing of a positive kind..But more specifically, how is YouTube different.It is a medium ofass connect not by static words or still images.It is just the real world on the reel.Thus , it might be assumed that YouTube needs moderation.Before that, what is the level of self discipline on YouTube.Content on YouTube are free and paid.They are available on the go.They are available unceasingly.And yes, they are available instantly.Coming back to self discipline on YouTube.It is no exception.Youtubers, a phrase meant for YouTube traffic are also opinionated.Thus there are extreme views.Is this extreme view doing harm?Yes, this is of a different kind.Extreme views expressed in response to a streaming can be hit anf run.This statistics is omnipresent.It is like irresistible desire to say something on everything.But the idea that we let extremist share their views by sharing content is dangerous.The question is, how to monitor these extreme exercise of obtaining audience and support in favour of what the extremist support.Youtube moderation needs to evolve to regulate this extremism.Is community deterrent helping on YouTube? Little, we just cannot rely on people being dissuaded to go about using YouTube comments space by hoping that community online will keep care of it.Thus, an onterint system is must to dissuade.
