Discuss some of the characteristics which make an ‘inclusive organisation’ and outline three benefits to the organization of creating an inclusive workplace. Use examples to further explain your answer.
Inclusive organization is a model of practice by public managers
that facilitates the participation of public officials, public
professionals, and politicians in coming together to address public
issues or public interests.
In an inclusive governance model, managers focus on building public
capacity to participate in the policy process. One way to build
this capacity is through organizing and maintaining relationships
with managers. Managers work in a variety of communication
structures that are used to make decisions, implement policies, and
set social priorities. These relationships are in the form of
barriers or opportunities for public policy implementation.
Examples....
Strive to maintain balance and contribution, in part by
decentralizing control over the engagement process and
outcomes.
Identifying stakeholders through appropriate analysis is an
important step in optimizing engagement and engagement.
Benefits..
1. High job satisfaction
When you feel valued for your work and contribution, you will be
satisfied with your work. Assessment is an incredible motivator and
does not always mean giving more money - it can be as simple as
recognizing an individual for his or her hard work and dedication.
Many companies do well for their star executives, but what about
star administration assistants or technical grooms?
2. Low income
If you are recognized and valued and you find the work you are
doing worthwhile, why leave? People leave organizations that they
think benefit them (or other people), but the organizations that do
not include them. Entering organizations are looking for ways to
truly show how much they value those participants, something that
can get people there.
3. High productivity
Participating organizations help increase people's productivity
because they are motivated and know that their work is valuable. In
an environment where they think their work will be neglected, there
is no incentive for employees to find smarter ways to work. But
when work is visible and valued, people are encouraged to do better
not only for themselves but also for the company.
