Solutions

Expert Solution

1answer- d.water, e.glucose.

Before passing through the glomerulus, the separation of  filterable blood component and non-filterable blood components. The red blood cells, white blood cell, platelets and plasma proteins (albumin, fibrinogen and globulin) gets separated from glomerulus and passes through efferent arteriole and mixes up with bloodflow. The other filterable component of blood such as water,nutrients(e.g. glucose), nitrogenous waste passes through the glomerulus to from the glomerular filtrate.

2.c. euhydrated, overhydrated, dehydrated

Euhydrated means that the normal range of content of water in body and have the urine flow rate about 1mL/min.The overhydrated refers to the high amount of water content in body and thus have urine flow rate above 1mL/min.The dehydrated refers to the low amount of water content in body and thus have urine flow rate below 1mL/min.

3.d. Loop of Henry

The nephron is made up of glomerulus,Bowman's capsule, proximal convoluted tubules, distal convoluted tubules, ascending and descending limb of  loop of Henle, collecting duct. The loop of Henry is not the part of nephron system.
