Denny's is one of the largest family restaurants operating throughout the world with 1700 franchisees. Through the free hand donation of Denny's guests and hard work of its employees and franchisees, it is continuously impacting childhood hunger in the US. Each dollar donated by people can arrange 10 healthy meals for hungry children and this has a significant impact on childhood hunger. Denny's aim is to fight against hunger till the last of childhood hunger. One of Denny's initiatives is its Hungry for Education Scholarship Program. Through this programme essays on how to fight against childhood hunger in their communities are collected from elementary, high school and college students. The best ideas are selected and its numbers are increasing every year to receive scholarships and in the honor of one student's essay submission, "Adopt a School" program is launched by Denny's in which schools, colleges and other communities are implementing hunger irradication ideas of their children in their own localities. Denny's hungry for education program has a tremendous impact on eliminating childhood hunger in the US.

There are different ways Denny's can use to mitigate childhood hunger. First, they can request their guests and people all over the world to donate $1 in their store and also online through their website. Secondly, they should reach out to various established business people to gain their support towards this childhood hunger programe. Thirdly, youngsters and also wealthy people of US should join hands in creating awareness about a social issue, child hunger. They should support the program in collaboration with Denny's and No Kid Hungry. Another way of mitigating childhood hunger is to request people to donate their extra food to a hungry child without wasting it. If people are conscious about their surrounding, about various social issues then no child will remain hungry and neglected.
