Expert Solution

1. Black lives matter was a movement that was started in around 2013, mainly after a man named Trayvon Martin shot and killed an unarmed black teenager but he was cleared of his murder. To. this a Californian activist, Alicia Garza responded with the post that said " Black people. I love you. I love us. Our lives matter". And from this the hashtag was born and continued to grow with every new incident and protest. The organization that sprung from the protests started with th egoal of highlighting how there are so many incident which have occured in the past where a police officer killed a member of the black community but were cleared of their murder. But later, it got international recognition and was spreading day by day.

2. ALL LIVES MATTER

In this movement, the counter movement said that not only black lives matter but all lives mtter and through this the phrase "All lives matter" sprang up as a respone but it was criticized for dismissing or misunderstanding the message that "Black lives matter" brought. During the protests there were two police officers who were shot down and due to this the hashtag "Blue lives matter" sprung into action.

WHITE STUDENT UNIONS

In response to BLM, many facebook pages emerged purporitng to represent the "White Student Unions" on college campus in the United States. these pages promised a safe plae for the white students and condmen alleged anti-white racism on campus.

WHITE LIVES MATTER

White lives matter was another activist group that was created in response to Black Lives Matter. This group has been active in the United Kingdom as well.

3. All the movements that began were due to some or the other type of violence or mistreatment that each community or group has faced and in order to tackle these situations these movement were ccreated. the Black Lives Matter movement aslo began due to how the teenager was shot dead by a police officer and still he was cleared of his murder. The White Student Union also began to create a safe place for the students so they can get rid of the anti-white racism which was happening on campus. The White Lives Matter was also a movement that broke out after the BLM. the movement All Lives Matter also broke out and gained national attention and it fought for how not only black lives matter instead all lives matter and the crimes that were happenong were not only happening to black people only but there were also several cases that have come to light where the accused was cleared of their murder completely.

4. Accordingly if we look at all the facts, the BLM movement was not only based and not only ocused on the black people and not other. the movement began because the black people lives were not being considered and they were seen without value within the white supremacy. Even President Barack Obama spoke that " the reason the organizers used the phrase Black Lives Matter because they were not suggesting that no one else's lives matter, rather what they were suggesting was that there is a specific problem that is happening in the African American community that is not happening in other communities and that is very much right because there were many crimes and discrimination that was happening in around the communities be it teasing or bullying or rather killing them on unmatched terms. so this movement was very much legitimate and right for the community because these issues need to be addressed accordingly and worked upon.
