High heritability within a group does not necessarily imply that average differences between groups are due to genetic differences between groups. Explain, using an example other than IQ.

Solutions

Expert Solution

High heritability in the sense where individuals in a group show high difference in characteristics whuch are attained genetically from parents or ansistors etc.

So, the individuals can be unique and un-unidentical due to their genes . For an instinct IQ is taken as an example as different individual possess different levels of IQ. Other examples are :-

The way of eating :- Some people tend to resemble their parents or grandparents or ansistors by the way how they eat , it may also be the quantity of you intake which may resemble to your ansistors capacity of intake of food. Have you ever been said that you were eating like one from your family? If then its an heritability character of yours.

The way of lifestyle :- Some people like have a neat and clean house with no thing un-tidy. Everything in a very systematic way .

Dressing sense :- The way you dress also sometimes due to heritability. Some like robust type of clothing,on the other hand some like simple way to put their cloth on.

Not only these but may like :- *Anger , *Sleeping habit, * Walking style etc.

Does this describe the difference between Between-Treatments (Groups) and Within-Treatments (Groups) variation? Why? or Why not? The concept of a between-treatments estimate of Ơ2 and showed how to compute it when the sample sizes were equal. This estimate of Ơ2 is called the mean square due to treatments and is denoted MSTR. The numerator is called the sum of squares due to treatments and is denoted SSTR. The denominator, k – 1, represents the degrees of freedom associated with SSTR....

Does this explain how you would evaluate the variation and other methods to ensure that the data are appropriate to use for the test correctly. The qualities inside of the values will not...
