How well can you tell the difference between an opinion, an ideology, and scientific evidence? How would you go about distinguishing between an empirical and an ethical claim?
Answer)
Opinion is the thought, belief, and view of individuals vary from person to person. Any person may or may not be agreed by any others individuals opinion, like it is my opinion that US president Barack Obama was more influenced personality than Donald Trump whether you agreed or not.
There are so many definitions of ideology is there. Ideology is the group of social elements or individuals and their thought belief and opinion that how they treat and views the world. Ideology may or may not influenced the opinions of others group or individuals. Ideology of any group or any party directly influence the social structure, economic system, and political structure of any country.
Scientific Evidences are based on the practically scientific theories. These theories not hypothetical these are examined and practically approved by researches. In Scientific Evidences and theories there is no existence of opinion or ideology.
Empirical Claims are derived for any statement regarding the world. Empirical claim is based on the theory, data and observations. some examples of the empirical claims may be like 75% of water is available on earth surface and the moon is made of green cheeses etc.
Ethical claim may be defined in two ways one is descriptive or empirical ethics theory and other is prescriptive ethics theory. Both the theories are approached and existed in ethical claim. Empirical ethics theory claim all about the world whereas prescriptive ethics theory claims about how the world should be reflected.
Hope it helps!!!!
