Answer)

HCI or the human-computer interaction is the factor that has been designed for any of the systems or the interfaces and this is being taken up or considered for safe, stable, usable, and efficient interface creation.

The most problematic thing for a senior citizen or people who are old is facing issues while editing the text or texting someone. It is seen in the research that they make typos, and have a serious issue while placing the cursor in the right position as they have the age relates issues like psychomotor functioning and vision declination.

Some of the HCI consideration to be kept in mind for people as they age are as follows:

1) Having a voice over command so that they don't have to type anything which becomes a problem of the old age who are unable to see through clearly

2) Flexibility and alternate ways to get the work done via phone or mobile. Example texting can be done through voice commands

3) Hand gesture control can another form which is beneficial as well

4) Biometrics unlock of the system which is secure as well as easy for the older generation to use.
