When a plant ( egg) is fertilized the developing embryo is attached to and nourished by the plant. True
Explanation: Once the process of fertilization is over, each of the ovule goes into the process of developing into seed. There is a tiny, undeveloped plant which is further called an embryo. Surrounding the ovules is the ovary which further lead to the development of fruit containing one or more seeds. The embryo remains attached to the plant and develops in the form of fruit. During the process of reproduction in plants, one of the sperm fertilizes with the egg to form the diploid zygote wheras the other sperm fertilizes two polar nuclei and it forms the triploid endosperm which becomes a foof source for the growing embryo.
