Explain how a qualitative anatomical analysis can be applied to improve training technique. Why would a clinician or practitioner want to do this and how could it help?
The qualitative anatomical analysis is used to determine the activity of the muscle during the training or any performance like platying. This will provide you with a detailed explanation about what is the performance of the person and at aparticular position how his mucles are extending to perform the action and it will give the practioner information required, about how to improve the persons performance by the range of motions he has.
Steps involved in qualitative anatomical analysis are,
1. first we have to decide the activity like throwing a shotput or play a basket ball should be selected and divide that activity into small phases, which will be easy to study.
2. next we have to identify what are the joint involved in that motion
3. we have to identify the type of muscular contraction that is happening at the joints.
4. next we have to identify where the rapis angular accelerations occurs and what is the impacts of it.
5. lastly identifying what are extremes of the Range of Motions of that joint.
all this data provides information about what specific muc=scles are active during the movement and which joints are involved in the action.
This helps the clinician or trainer to identify the muscles which are limiting the performance of the person and helps the trainer to design exercise to enhance the performance by using the muscles which are showing limited performace.
