For Model and S and X Tesla use a concentrated segmentation strategy and Online strategy, this strategy will allow Tesla to employ its limited resources efficiently, and marketing through its websites. Tesla has 2 different models S and X. Model S is a sedan and Model X is a long run SUV.These vehicles are designed to maximize safety and for higher customer satisfaction.
Tesla doesn't promote much, its marketing is through its website, all the models are showcased with so many interior exterior view videos of the car, it links with social media websites such as twitter, facebook, youtube to promote their products. eg: demographic variables for this strategy: In general women like sedans and male like SUV they have designed great quality cars equally by that 2 models, if there are large members in a family SUV fits well, whereas small family sedan suits well. psychographic: Higher cader employees prefer sedan than SUV. Long distance travelers prefer SUV based on their social status one tends to buy a car upper generally tends to buy superior products compared to others these both are designed in such way they are more for upper-class society. behavioral variables: cars are purchased based on their knowledge, based on their usage eg: if they are heavy users they can go for SUV and neede a low operating cost can go for X.
