1.
Mitochondria
Mitochondria is a double membrane bound cell organelle found in eukaryotic organisms. It is considered as the powerhouse of the cell. It is involved in the production of energy currency of the cell, ATP.
Here in the question there are three statements about mitochondria. We want to find the correct ones,
a. Statement is correct. Mitochondria are very abundant in muscle cells, since muscle cells require large amount of energy.
b. It is also correct. Mitochondria is a double membrane bound cell organelle.
c. Statement is correct. Liver cells are highly regenerative and thus require high energy for the process. So mitochondria are very abundant in liver cells.
So all statements are correct .
Option d is the answer.
ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE TRUE.
2.
Cilia
Cilia is a small hair like structure seen in eukaryotic cells. It helps in movement.
Here in the question there are four statements about cilia, we want to find the correct ones,
a. Statement is incorrect. The core of cilia is called axoneme which is made up of microtubules.
b. Incorrect statement. Cilia are absent in the ureter.
c. The statement is correct. Cilia are present in the trachea. Cilia help to prevent dust and pathogens in trachea.
d. Statement is false. Cilia have a 9 + 2 arrangement of microtubules.
So Option c is the answer.
CILIA ARE PRESENT IN THE TRACHEA.
3.
Microglia
Microglia are cells of Central Nervous System , CNS . They are part of the defence system in the brain and spinal cord.
Here in the question there are four statements about microglia, we want to find the correct ones,
a. Statement is true. Microglia are mesodermal in origin whereas other neuroglial cells are derived from neuroectoderm.
b. Statement is incorrect. Microglis are a part of central nervous system and not peripheral nervous system.
c. The statement is true. Microglia have elongated nucleus and cytoplasm.
d. The statement is incorrect . Microglia is present throughout the central nervous system. It is not restricted to grey matter.
Option a and c are correct.
So Option f is the answer.
ONLY A + C ARE TRUE.
