1)The answer is 22.
The skull or the cranium is made up of 22 bones. Some of these are
paired. Of these 22 bones, 8 are the cranial bones and 14 are the
facial bones.
The cranial bones are- Two parietal bones, two temporal bones, one
ethmoid bone, one frontal bone, one occipital bone, and one
sphenoid bone. The facial bones include two inferior nasal conchae,
two lacrimal bones, two maxillae, two nasal bones, two palatine
bones, two zygomatic bones, one mandible, and one vomer.
2)The answer is fossa
It recieves an articulating bone. Round hole for vessels and nerves
are called foramen whereas condyle is a-rounded bump which fits
into a fossa on another bone to form a joint.
Spine ,a sharp and pointed processs for muscle attachment.
3)The answer is Vomer bone
The facial skull has fourteen bones in humans. They are of mainly
two types- paired and unpaired.
The unpaired bones of the human skull includes frontal, occipital,
ethmoid, sphenoid, mandible and vomer. And paired bones include the
inferior nasal concha, lacrimal bones, maxilla, nasal bones,
palatine bones, and zygomatic bones.
Vomer is an unpaired ,thin plate of bone located in the midline on the floor of the nasal cavity.
4)The answer is 7.
Orbits are symmetrical paired structures and they are separated
by nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.
They include 7-Frontal, sphenoid, maxillary, zygomatic, palatine,
ethmoid and lacrimal.
