a) The nervous system disease Mr.Heath suffering from is multiple sclerosis.

b)The cause of disease could be - immune system malfunction, destruction of myelin sheath which surrounds the nerve fiber in brain and spinal cord,genetic and environmental factors,chronic vitamin D and Vitamin B12 deficiency.

c) The  myelin sheath which surrounds the nerve fiber in brain and spinal cord starts degrading.This causes the delaying in the electric impulses transmission along nerve cells.

d)Treatment - The steroid medicines,chemotherapy,immunosuppressive drugs,anti-inflammatory drugs which helps in the treating the multiple sclerosis relapses.In terms of the physical treatment aspect, acupuncture and the exercises helps in relieving with the condition and restore muscle strength.In terms of psychological treatment aspect - professional counselling and the support group helps in alleviating the depression like condition and other symptoms.
