Effect of hormones on BP-> negative feedback loop ??

Solutions

Expert Solution

Aldosterone hormone regulates the level of salt in the blood .High amount of aldosterone leads to high blood pressure and also causes levels of pottasium to drop. For keeping the blood pressure low sufficient amount of minerals are needed.Diet with high salt content trigger the condition high blood pressure and it damages the adrenal gland cells.

When estrogen drops the heart and blood vessels become less elastic.By these changes the blood pressure tends to increase .

Renin controls the production of angiotensin and aldosterone. These hormones control the amount of salt and water to enter is moved out of the body.Alterations in these hormones can alter blood pressure.

When a stress is caused stress hormones are eleased .They are adrenaline and cortisol in to the blood. This create a small spike in blood pressure+ and blood vessels become narrow. When the situation is over tyhe blood pressure goes to its normal.

Negative feedback Loop

It occurs in response to some kind of stimulus. It is also known as inhibitory loop.In this system there is an increased output and inhibits or decreases function. It occurs by some kind of stimulus. It causes the system to be lessened. This feed back stabilize the system. This is meant by homeostasis
