  • Too many sea lions : Sea lions generally live in sea and their overpopulation in certain areas can affect a lot of people in the area. Generally sea lions eat fish and tend to keep to themselves but they are also wild and dangerous. There have been instances of sea lion attacks and their attacks can be dangerous. Moreover their overpopulation can be dangerous for the local fisheries and fish market. They can rapidly take down the fish population.
  • Noxious smell : For the residents staying in the region, a noxious smell over a period of time can be quite harmful. Many such smell stem from chemicals which are harmful for the human body. Inhaling such odor for a long time can in turn cause health issues. Specially patients of asthama or lung dieseases shall be harmed by this more. Even in case such smells persists for a short duration might induce headache, nausea or gagging amongst humans.
  • Feces/pollution: Pollution in either water or soil by feces or otherwise is quite harmful. Even though some pollutants might be biodegradable, their presence in high quantities, is not at all wanted.Residents living in such conditions might be exposed to various harmful bacteria, fungi or even insects which spread diseases. Prolonged period of such pollution can harm the flora and fauna of the region. Specially people with pets might have to very careful about letting their pets outdoors without supervision. They might contact something harmful from such polluted environment.

Swimmer

  • Too many sea lions : As swimmers are the ones who would dive into the water for their pleasure or profession, they might encounter these pinnipeds. Although they are not violent by nature, they still might not like foreign creatures invading their space. This will also be a trouble to the swimmers to swim amongst so many sea lions. Their presence in the sea water along with curious nature might create problems with the swimmers. Specially swimmers wearing flippers can rouse their interest and they might disturb the swimmers.
  • Noxious smell : A noxious smell usually stems from a chemical or burning of certain substances. In these cases, if the fumes of chemical are in the atmosphere, there are chances that they shall also be getting absorbed in the water. This might turn the water slighty basic or acidic in nature. This can causes rashes, skin infection or other skin issues. Other than that, such odor have effect of gagging, nausea or headache amongst the swimmer. Even the water might pick up such smell.
  • Feces/pollution: A polluted water or water containing feces is not at all suitable for swimming. Such polluted waters calls for fungi, algae or even certain insects which are known to spread diseases. Various pollutants in water can also cause skin infection or rashes . Even the waters can become unfit for swimming in case of prolonged history of pollution. The swimmers would need protective gears and appropriate equipment to swim in such polluted waters. It is recommended that they wear full swimming suit without exposing their skin in such cases.

Tourist

  • Too many sea lions : The sea lions can be a point of attraction to the tourist. Such a magnificent animal can rouse their interest and bring in flocks of tourist. Specially wildlife photographers or nature explorers shall be part of the touring crowd in such a situation. Children might also be attracted to the different kind of animal which they will encounter. The sea lion might be just a water puppy for many of them. Still so many sea lions might still be dangerous for tourist. Care is to be taken not to disturb the sea lions.
  • Noxious smell : Noxious odor in a tourist region is certainly an economic loss. Tourist are going to flee the region due to the odor. Many might even start having health issues. If the odor is caused by some chemical fumes, they might harm the respiratory organs . Moreover patients of asthama or lung infections will be at high risk in such situation.   • Feces/pollution: Tourist do not prefer polluted regions to visit. If they tend to see such places, they quickly try to go somewhere else. This might also lead to tourism economy in the region to decline. Specially a region which is polluted brings diseases and germs with it. Such a location becomes dangerous for tourist. As not only are they at risk of getting sick, they might also take some bacteria or virus with them back home. This can certainly turn into a disaster quickly. Specially children are affected more easily and need to kept away from such area.
