Advantages and Disadvantages about technological changes and globalization has influence for the recruitment new employees
Advantages
1. More diverse talent pool due to the global reach of the organization.
2. A huge amount of data can be analyzed per person which would give better results in the process of recruitment.
3. Technology has helped remove bias in the sense that all that is unnecessary in the recruitment process is completely eliminated from the analysis.
4. Technological innovations have provided people with the flexibility to be able to recruit talent from any part of the world at the expense of control factor which they cannot control due to this fact.
DISADVANTAGES
1. The overflow of data due to big data analysis of every candidate.
2. Diversity in talent pool creates the decision making process to become more tedious and increases the competition for the candidates.
3. It also adds a bias in the form of having unnecessary demands for talent.
4. Control is lost which can sometimes mean that the selection process may not be as accurate as it should be.
