Which of the following describes how RNA and DNA are used in mitosis?
A.-forms spindle fibers that attach to chromosomes
B.-moves vesicles to the middle of the cell to form the cell plate.
C.-leads to synthesis of proteins that assist in cell replication.
D.-produce energy for cell division.
ANSWER ----- (C)
Leads to the synthesis of the protein that asist in the cell replication.
DNA are transcribed into RNA to form a protein that are required for the cell division.
DNA is the most imporant material for the body which converts into the protein and then it is used in various processes.
DNA directly doesn't acts on the body processes they first transcribes into RNA and then protein is formed through the process of translation.
DNA is read by the some enzymes that makes the Rna and then the protein is formed and these proteins are helpful for various body functions.
All Enzymes are always protein but all proteins are not said to be enzymes some of them perform many other functions.
There are some proteins that acts as a check marker protein which helps in cell division process also.
Now as i have provided the diagram so you can see the normal process and there are three phases for cell to go in mitosis and divide that is G1 , S , G2 phase.
Role of cyclin protein in cell division
Now when cell goes from the G1 phase to the S phase the protein called cyclin and cyclin dependent kinase must bind together and they help cell to pass to the S phase by activating it and these proteins are made by the DNA ; and so DNA use to repeat this process to make such protein which are important otherwise cell division will shut and cell will die.
ROLE OF TUBULIN IN CELL DIVISION
DNA also use to produce some proteins called tubules or microtubules which are required for the cell to get double during the second phase of the cycle in the G2 phase.
So in this manner these DNA and RNA are helpful for the cell division.
The right answer is C
While all other statement are incorrect.
