An entrepreneur is someone who plans and starts a new company, ensuring that all the benefits and challenges that come with running a company will be taken on. An intrapreneur, on the other hand, is an person who uses their entrepreneurial skills to build and grow a new project in the company they are already working on, removing many of the risks that come with running a business as an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is an individual who designs, launches, and runs a new business that begins almost always as a small business. Individuals who create and launch a business take on most of the risks associated with the business development. They'll also reap most of the rewards though. Entrepreneurs who are able to bring a business into the market successfully are considered innovators. Those people should create new ideas, programs, products and businesses on a regular basis.

Entrepreneurs are a key component of the larger economy, because their skills are needed to anticipate customer needs and bring their new ideas to market. While being an entrepreneur can be very risky when one of your ideas fails, the rewards entrepreneurs have access throughout their careers to include potential fame, high profits and numerous growth opportunities. The word 'entrepreneur' was first coined by Jean-Baptiste Say, a French economist. Entrepreneur was taken from the French word entrepreneur which means explorer or entrepreneur.

An intrapreneur is an person who works to create new ideas and products within the company constraints on which they already operate. Intrapreneurs include any person within the company who applies entrepreneurial skills, vision, and forward thinking into their role in the company. One of the most compelling reasons for becoming an intrapreneur is that it helps you to shape new concepts, products and business goals without taking on the risks of starting up a new company as an entrepreneur.

An intrapreneur may be anyone from an intern to that company's vice president. Successful intrapreneurs will foster the innovation they work for within the company. In most cases, an intrapreneur will have full control over the project they are working on despite the fact that the project is usually designed to have a significant impact on the firm itself. Many individuals who start out as intrapreneurs eventually develop into entrepreneurs once they decide to leave the company they work at and form their own business.

When it comes to leadership, both entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs need strong and effective leadership skills if they're going to turn their idea into a successful change in product, business, or company. All of these types of individuals would be able to inspire other people to strive for the same goal in order to achieve some sort of success as an entrepreneur or intrapreneur. If you're working as an entrepreneur or an intrapreneur, the unknown is a major part of creating an idea or a company.

While entrepreneurs have full control over the business they are building and the products they are creating, they also have to account for all of the capital and resources needed to build a successful business. Though being an intrapreneur is considerably simpler, you won't have as much flexibility as entrepreneurs do.
