I have searched about India as a country and distinguish culture. It has many subcultures like south Indian culture, North Indian culture, east Indian culture, West Indian culture, urban and rural culture. It has second largest population after China. It's culture has changed from time to time. It was once the center  of indus valley civilization in ancient time. It has successful in preserving its culture of vedic age. People speaks many languages and generally behave like secularists. It has followers of Hinduism , Islam , Christianity, Jainism, Sikhs , Buddhism and other religions. Despite the differences , people believes in unity and diversity. It has currently organized world's largest fair Kumbh in Its state of UP in the district Pryagraj. It is forecasted that almost 15 crores people will participate in this fair . India is one of largest consumer market. It has been given many great CEOs to the American MNC like Google's Sundar Pichai, Master card Ajay Banga, Microsoft's Satya Nadela , Indira Nooyi of PepsiCo , Kalpana Chawala , Sunita Williams etc.

Marketing is an essential part of trade , business and commerce. It helps an organization to attract and retain customers in almost every part of the world. It is applicable to each industry and every type of business. Its main aim is to aware people about products and services offered by an organization.

In my view, every marketers should demonstrate highest level of ethics and integrity. It offers value based offerings and supporting the marginalized class of society. A marketer should target to launch such products which can be easily known to the downtrodden people. Low prices of products might be an important compulsion for the marketers in the rural areas across the global market. Only manufacturing is not important. It is the duty of a marketer to make aware the poor people living in the society. In this connection, door to door campaigns , free samples and small sachets etc. will be a good strategies by the marketers.

I will give recommendations to people trying to market some products in India. Indian people have distinguish attitude, conservatism and even modern life styles . Indian believes in value propositions. A marketer should utilize the following practices in Indian Market:

1) Segmentation of the market based on Indian Subcultures like south, North etc.

2) Target some specific market like Youth ( Currently, India is enjoying demographic dividends) one. They prefer luxurious and lifestyles products.

3) Indian people have lack of awareness so a marketer should emphasize on the same.

4) Indian society is conservative so values and ethical standards must be implemented in the marketing plans and programs.

5) People even using internet to a significant level so a marketer must prepare strategies suitable to such target customers.
