Answer-

Realizing that an ongoing school shooting happened in my school and I have to address the situation and make the plan accordingly is a key task that has to be performed. As this is one of the emergency management situation, one has to keep the emotions aside to make a decent plan and strategy to address the same situation accordingly.

The reason because of which the emotions are to be kept aside is because emotions will in general overlap your brain and impacts how rationally you are taking and playing out the dynamic analysis. For example, if an ongoing case of school shooting happened in your school and parents are complaining about the safety and security of your youngster at any cost, you cannot take the choice to close the school or convert your school to a total virtual condition because of getting impacted by the emotions and security for everybody.

You have to keep your psyche calm and created in critical situations to make sure the choices you take are rational, important and also be the most feasible to carry out in the organization. In this way, the things that are important to be addressed to keep the emotions aside and making sure everything goes according to the plan are:

Data and information: The principal important thing that is needed to be taken care of before making any choice in the hour of emergency management is the relevance and importance of data and information. Always have critical data and information about the alternatives available, the cost, the benefits, the dangers and the outcomes engaged with each alternative that you have searched out to make the choice. Make sure your choice is rarely brief and you take the choice with a calm and created mind.

Communication: Another important thing is the communication. Communicate your choice with everybody. Try not to make the choice without anyone else and then execute. Always consider and remember everybody for your dynamic procedure to make sure the correct outcomes and ideas could be given to you at this season of emergency management.

Feedback: And at last, always ask for feedback. Always rely on relevant feedback to make sure everybody understand the choice taken and also to tally on the off chance that everybody is ready for the choice and in the event that not, then why and how we can improve the situation with team work.
