Business organizations today rely a lot on the different processes in the business and a major contributor on these process is Information Technology. Business organization today rely a lot on Information Technology for various factors like data analysis, infrastructure solutions, etc.. organizations generally adopt two approaches here, one in which the organization itself will manage its operation and there is another approach and that is by outsourcing their Information Solution to a vendor who are expert in this field of the industry. hence it can be stated that a very strong cross unit relationship is required here which will help in making the business organization work in a better manner.
In order to implement a strong cross unit relationship in an organization, there are various factors that the organization should look into and they are:
1. Maintaining a parallel relationship between the units
2. To ensure that everything should be communicated and all the units are in sync.
3. While planning a project, the dependencies should be determined and along with that impact analysis is also needed and that should be communicated to the units involved.
4. each and every unit should understand that the common goal and objective of the organization is priority and to achieve that they should work together.
5. Personal interest of the units should not be considered as much important as compared to that of the organization as a whole.
