What do you see as some of the organizational changes that have occurred as quality has matured into thetwenty-first century?
There is no doubt in the fact that as business has changed a lot recently, the way of doing business has also changed and organizations are adapting to the changes that business is experiencing today. Quality has been the primary objectives of the organizations lately and in order to maintain the quality standards there has been a lot of tools, strategies and approaches that has been introduced in the process and way of doing business. Organizations today focus on quality a lot because the mentality of the customers or clients have changed and they actually expect quality from the products or services that are offered and organizations are also adapting to such changes. The expectation level of clients have changed and it has transformed the business process too as organizations no more rely a lot in quantities today. The general concept is to maintain quality which will give the organization a better brand value and acceptance.
Roles and responsibilities of the employees have also changed today because the process has transformed and once when it was expected that performance is directed towards producing quantity has changed today towards producing quality. Quality management and quality control is being used by organizations effectively in recent times because organizations understand the need of such methodologies in the business as it is quality that will provide the orgnaization with a competitive advantage over it's competitors and help the organization do better business in the industry.
