Argument of Van den Hagg regarding capital punishment:

Van den Hagg particular field of study is death penalty or capital punishment. His main argument is defend steemed from key themes such as detterenc, and punishment for severe criminal .

Van den Hagg believe Paramount duty of goverment is to provide legal order in which citizen can secured their lives , their liberities, their pursuit of happiness .

He disputed claim that capital punishment just a from of legal retribution if laws are knowingly broken , legal order can only be maintained by enforcement.

He also argue that people are committed crime , because they are getting advantage from it.thus it is responsiblity of socity to make all crime disadvantageous

Van den Hagg also also believe that capital punishment direct corelation of decrese murder .He claimed that rehabilitation is temporary solution .it does not reduce crime rate.

Reiman argued that death penalty is not substantially better deterrent than death penalty.

Reiman stated that capital punishment is not humane .it should not good deterrent to crime and it should be abolished .

Step-2

Considering the argument of of Van den Hagg and Reiman , I personally believe Van den HAGG argument more rational and coherent.capital punishment can only remarkable example for murder or other brutal crime .it is more sounding than life imperisonment punishment.heinous crime also deserve serious punshiment to make these guilty person aware. Humanity is very subjective.Rehablitation is not the permanent solution .when capital punishment is implement , people will not dare to repeat this violent crime .
