The qualitative and quantitative are the two report that will provide the work performance of a employee,the progress of the business units and the work force.Quantitative data contains the statistics,however the qualitative reports provide the account information of the individual or the observations.the information that reviewed will help to identify the issues and the impact on business productivity as well.by knowing these factor can make required changes to increase the business .

Quantitative Data:

There is several methods of quantitative data gathering method to track the performance of the each employee in the business. by this method of tracking we an categorize the employee in rank format by their performance which will helps to award or to provide the next level of promotions.and also helps to necessary actions with poor performer .

in the manufacturing bossiness the data tracking method follows as the each worker produces the total number of units over a particular period of time.in service based companies they tracking through the client interactions on daily basis. also get the data for along period of time .however some business will review the productivity on daily basis for the productivity purpose to make sure that employees are being productive or not .

Qualitative Data:

The Qualitative reports provide the human observation reports .which is nothing but includes the behavior of the employee ,the work habits, the employee action to over come the tough times in the work to perform the effective work flow.these observations will be done very silently with knowing to the employee with less interaction with employee.This may provide the interaction information to increase or decrease the productivity of the employee.In other case gather the information from different supervisors to ensure that to compile the qualitative data reports.By appointing two or more people to observe the performance achievement of the employee which will reduce bias in the report .

The Qualitative and quantitative report are produced and reviewed for time consume.also compiling of reports provides the performance report and those reports kept in a file to protect the business .these reports will provide the information about the former employee of the company and which will also protect from legal dispute .
