An extra benefit supplementing an employee's money wage or salary is called Fringe Benefit. Examples are a company’s car, private health care, etc. What Fringe Benefits do you get from your employer in your organizations? Describe in detail.
I am working in an IT Company and my company offers me a variety of fringe benefits (non-cash form of compensation). These benefits include:
--Health insurance: My employer pays the cost of an accident plan for me, my spouse and two children
-- Educational assistance: I am also provided with tax-free education assistance through formal Education Assistance programs by my employer. It helps in developing my skills
-- Childcare and assistance reimbursement: My employer offers on-site childcare at a discounted price. I have a working spouse and this fringe benefit helps both of us to concentrate on our work, knowing our children are close by, and being cared for
-- Physical Fitness: I receive paid gym memberships thus help me to lead a healthy lifestyle
-- Moving expenses: When I joined my current company, I had to move from different city, and my current employer provided reimbursement for the moving expenses
-- Personal use of a company-owned vehicle: This facility provides the convenience for both employer as well as me
--Holiday gifts with a low market value: We often receive holiday gifts at a discounted price
-- Company picnics: Group meals, picnics, sporting event tickets --- I often receives these from my employer
